Notice of 2023 Annual Meeting

Join us live for our 2023 Virtual Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 22, at 4pm.
Members wishing to attend the Annual Meeting will be able to attend virtually from the comfort of your own home as we have the past three years.

Virtual meeting information will be sent out via email to registrants closer to the meeting date. For those without internet access, we will be opening our Garfield Hts. branch lobby located at 13623 Rockside Rd. to attend the meeting in-person.

In 2023, there are three nominees for election to the Board of Directors. The incumbent nominees for the Board positions will serve for three year terms.
Todd Turner, Incumbent
Todd Turner is the Chief Executive Officer of OC Federal Credit Union and has been with the credit union for over twelve years. Previously, he sat on the Board of Directors for Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford, OH. Todd and his family reside in Akron.
Joseph Shaft, Incumbent
Joseph Shaft currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for OC Federal Credit Union. Now retired, Joe spent most of his career in the financial industry with much of his time working at credit unions. Joe and his family reside in Brook Park.
James Tawney, Incumbent
James Tawney has served on the Board of Directors for OC Federal Credit Union since 2016. Now retired, Jim served as the Chief Executive Office of St. Paul’s Federal Credit Union for several years and played a critical role in the successful merger of St. Paul’s into OC Federal in 2016. Jim and his family reside in Akron.
All positions are volunteer positions, which provide no compensation. Members of the Board of Directors set the credit union’s policies, plan the credit union’s course and make sure it maintains a sound financial position. They are required to attend monthly Board Meetings, monthly committee meetings and other meetings designated by the board.


In order to be considered for an open position, individuals must submit their qualifications to the Nominating Committee. Members must be in good standing and 18 years of age and must have a base level of financial skills. All nominees will be reviewed and approved by the Nominating Committee.
